The idea to create such website came after we realised how expensive map updates are when you are doing it at dealer. They are not only charging you for map data, but also hourly labour rate for installing the map into navigation system hard disk drive. Moreover you need to make an appointment to the dealer and sometimes drive an hour or even more to reach it. We came up with an idea which would same lot of time and money – now you can update you Mercedes COMAND maps without leaving home, all you need is an empty SD or USB which will be used to store the downloaded maps.
